Pecha Kucha Night was devised in Tokyo in February 2003 as an event for people to meet and present their work or ideas to the public. Drawing its name from the Japanese term for the sound of “chit chat”, it rests on a presentation format that is based on a simple idea: 20 images, 20 seconds apiece. Click here for more details about just exactly what the heck a Pecha Kucha is.

And an additional cool factor, this Pecha Kucha has managed to gain a little press. Presenters will be talking about it on the Tracy Collins’ Morning Show on Action News Jax, this Tuesday morning, the 20th! They’re expecting a few high profile individuals from the city to attend this event. *wink

You’re not going to want to miss it!
